Two friends, one desire to create

We're Mélissa and Camille, aka Mel & Cam. We met in Australia in 2022 and quickly became inseparable. Every conversation brought a new project idea, a sudden urge to create, a concept to launch... but always something holding us back: laziness, fear, self-sabotage. We dreamed of starting a business, but we never dared to take the plunge.

Then, at the beginning of 2024, Camille returned to France, and this time, it was different. The desire to create together never left us. After months of FaceTime, failed (and successful!) tests, trips to the haberdashery, and fits of laughter, we finally decided to bring our dream to life. And that's how Bendo was born in December 2024: a brand that reflects us, sparkling, fun, and sunny!

Why headbands?

Because headbands are life! We've been wearing them forever, but we had trouble finding ones that ticked all the boxes: colorful, adjustable, comfortable, AND high-quality. So we decided to create our own! Our patterns are original, our colors are explosive, and our goal is clear: to offer you the accessory that instantly boosts any look.

At Bendo, no added elastic! Our headbands are adjustable only thanks to their carefully selected fabric. The result? A perfect fit that won't slip, squeeze too tightly, or leave a lump behind your head.

Quality & know-how

Behind each banner is Valérie, Camille's mother and an exceptional seamstress. She passed on all her expertise to Camille and now oversees production with eagle eyes, kindness, attention to detail, and love.

All our headbands are handmade in France, using durable and ultra-comfortable stretch fabrics. Our mission? To offer you beautiful, practical, and durable hair accessories, designed to be worn all day without discomfort.

At Bendo, we don't mass produce or compromise on quality. We focus on French craftsmanship, sustainable small-batch production, and sustainable materials to limit waste.
